What is being announced?
UF健康街. 约翰 became a part of UF Health, the University of Florida’s academic health center, beginning Sept. 1, 2023. Going forward, the organization will now be known in the region as UF健康街. 约翰 . 作为致敬 to its 130-year heritage, the hospital in St. 奥古斯汀 has been renamed UF Health Flagler Hospital.
Why did this acquisition occur?
Over the last decade, the health care industry has changed significantly – and so have the communities we serve. Meaningful relationships are increasingly required to meet the health care needs of our growing patient population.
After exploring options from some of the most respected health care organizations in the country, the UF健康街. 约翰 Board of Trustees decided to join UF Health because the nationally renowned health system offered the strengths of a top 5 public research institution coupled with innovative, high-quality, leading-edge care that will benefit the residents of Flagler, St. 约翰, Putnam, Clay, and Duval counties for generations to come.
What is the vision for UF健康街. 约翰?
The vision of UF健康街. 约翰 is to advance health care in Northeast Florida communities by delivering excellent health 护理服务 that are patient-centered, innovative, and high-quality.
UF健康街. 约翰 will continue to provide high-quality health 护理服务 to underserved populations and expand access to care in the community. The organization will focus on quality of care, access to leading-edge patient care programs, and opportunities for training and research.
How will UF健康街. 约翰 accomplish this vision?
Working together, team members from UF健康街. 约翰 and the larger UF Health system will collectively assess community health care needs and then develop strategic plans to provide new medical personnel, facilities, and resources as necessary to achieve our shared strategic vision.
UF健康街. 约翰 is committed to delivering the highest level of clinical care to improve the health of the communities they serve through:
- Continuing the enhancement of quality and patient satisfaction by sharing best practices.
- Supporting key community-focused service lines (e.g., Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, etc.)，同时扩展 the breadth and depth of services provided locally.

Will the Mission and Vision change?

We will look to maximize treatment options, improve coordination of care, offer the latest medical breakthroughs, and explore new opportunities related to our missions of patient care, community service, medical education, and research activities.
Will the UF健康街. 约翰 name and logo change?
The organization previously known as Flagler Health+ is now UF健康街. 约翰. Over time and in phases, the new brand will be infused into all aspects of the organization. However, an organization is much more than 这个标志. The quality of care our patients have come to know and trust 保持不变.
